Old North State Trust Welcomes 2 New Employees

Old North State Trust has announced two new additions to its Wilmington office.

Jan Metcalf, senior trust officer, and Cody Lewallen, associate trust officer, have joined the staff at Old North State located at 3811 Peachtree Ave., according to a press release. 

Metcalf has over 19 years of experience in the trust and financial industry. She is a graduate of Elon College, with further graduate work at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is also a graduate of Cannon Financial Institute’s Personal Trust School and is certified by the American Institute of Banking as a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA).

As an associate trust officer, Lewallen is responsible for guiding clients in developing their financial objectives through the administration of trust, investment management and estate accounts.

Lewallen (left) worked with Signature FD as a financial planning associate in Atlanta, Georgia, prior to joining Old North State Trust. He previously served in North Carolina working as a trust officer with High Point Bank.

Lewallen received his bachelors of business administration with a concentration in trust and wealth management from Campbell University.
