Novant Health Oceanside Family Medicine has welcomed two new providers since February. Nurse practitioner Sara Clagg and physician John Scheck are now accepting patients at Novant’s Southport facility. 
 
Clagg, an advanced registered nurse practitioner, received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from Marshall University where she also completed the family nurse practitioner program. She joined the Novant team in March, according to a news release.
 
Scheck completed his medical degree at the Ross University School of Medicine and a residency in family medicine at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. Prior to joining Novant in February, Scheck worked at Onslow Primary Care in Jacksonville, the release stated.
