By Staff Reports, posted Oct 18, 2016
The Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association and three of the organization's members received statewide recognition in Charlotte recently at the 2016 STARS Awards Gala held by the N.C. Home Builders Association.

The association won “Best HBA Communications PR Effort” for the second year in a row and “Best HBA NC Build PAC Fundraiser.”

“These two awards are a true measure of the countless hours and hard work that our volunteer members give this association on a daily basis for so many of our events and programs,” said Cameron Moore, executive officer of WCFHBA, in a news release.

Stevens Fine Homes, Riptide Builders LLC and RMB Building & Design LLC also brought home top honors from the awards ceremony, held Sept. 14 at the Charlotte Convention Center as part of the 21st Century Building Expo & Conference.

Stevens Fine Homes was awarded Best Brochure or Marketing Piece. RMB Building & Design took home the award for Best Single Family Energy Efficient Home for an Edgewater Club Road residence, the second time in a row RMB Building has taken top honors in that category. Riptide Builders was awarded Best Logo Design and Best Single Family Detached Home: Sales Price Under $250,000 for The Osprey.
