Pioneer Strategies of Brunswick County has hired Matt Ledford as a communication specialist.
 
Ledford graduated from University of North Carolina Wilmington in communication studies earlier this year. He interned with Pioneer Strategies, a marketing communication agency,  during his final semester as a student, a news release stated.
 
“Matt proved himself while interning with us … His work ethic, responsiveness and attention to detail will further strengthen our ability to serve our clients as our firm continues to grow,” said Frank Williams, founder and lead strategist with Pioneer Strategies, in the release.
