The Women’s Impact Network of New Hanover County announced six new members to its 2016 board recently.

Linda Brown, Melissa Phillippi and Nancy Scott-Finian now serve as Women’s Impact Network (WIN) at-large board members.

The group named Leigh Johnson, director of corporate relations at Susan G. Komen NCTC, chairwoman of its special events committee.

Liz Kachris-Jones became chairwoman of the education committee.

Laurie Taylor, vice president of development for Lower Cape Fear Hospice, is WIN’s representative to the N.C. Community Foundation Statewide Women’s Fund Grant Committee.

A small group of women, who wanted to promote women’s philanthropy through collective giving, founded WIN five years ago, and the organization now has over 70 members, according to a news release.
