The Becker Morgan Group recently received the 2015 Metal Architecture Ribbed Metal Wall Panels Design Award for its work on Audi Cape Fear’s building in Wilmington.

The project is featured in the July issue of Metal Architecture, according to a news release from the architecture and planning services firm.

Metal Architecture Design Awards recognize winning entries based on “creativity in the metal construction industry and showcase exciting uses of steel” incorporated into project design, the release stated.

Becker Morgan’s Wilmington office also has been chosen by the New Hanover County Schools to provide architectural services for the renovations of New Hanover High School’s George West Building, a second news release from the firm stated. This project includes selective demolition; repair and replacement of certain major building systems; repair, replacement and new finishes for building components; and technology upgrades throughout the facility.
