Kenworthy Promoted At Ports Authority

The N.C. State Ports Authority announced in a news release the promotion of Lance Kenworthy to the position of director, bulk and breakbulk. Kenworthy, who has been with the authority for nine years, is well known and respected in the global logistics community, the release stated.
 
“Lance has been instrumental in bringing major projects to our ports in recent years: the Tappan Zee Bridge project as well as the recruitment of Enviva, just to name a few,” CEO Paul Cozza said in the release.
 
In his new position, Kenworthy is accountable for the development and implementation of key strategies designed to increase bulk and breakbulk cargo volumes and revenues through the ports of Wilmington and Morehead City. He also supervises and directs the activities of account executives as they support cargo growth implementation strategies, the release stated.
  
Kenworthy has an MBA from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He also has bachelor degrees in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
