Last month, nCino hired its 100th employee, Tom DiVittorio, as chief product officer. DiVittorio comes to nCino after holding several leadership positions at Salesforce, the online platform on which nCino software is built, the company announced in a news release.

DiVittorio’s more than 20 years of technical architecture and product development experience has been “acquired through previous roles in technical consulting, platform sales and most recently as global vice president responsible for independent software vendor partners and channels enablement,” the release stated.

As nCino’s chief product officer, DiVittorio is responsible for overall product strategy, architecture and delivery. His background in spearheading product roadmaps as well as driving new product innovation at leading financial management and advisory companies will be helpful to the nCino executive team, according to the release.

“nCino’s culture is built around the former bankers that make up a majority of its workforce,” DiVittorio said in the release.

DiVittorio’s hire is one of the company’s 2014 milestones.

“Tom is an exciting addition to our team. His intricate knowledge of the Salesforce platform that is at our core, along with his financial services experience, will further propel our product development and delivery for 2015 and beyond,” nCino CEO Pierre Naudé said in the release.

More recently, nCino hired Kathryn Cook (at right) as director of public relations. She comes to the company from Pure Communications, an integrated communications agency specializing in public and investor relations for the life sciences industry, and brings nearly eight years of agency public relations experience to her new role, a news release stated.
