An insurance veteran has become Wells Insurance’s newest account executive.
 
Beverly Vanhook, who earned her bachelor’s degree from N.C. State University, has 38 years of experience in the insurance field, most recently with City-County Insurance Service in Lenoir, North Carolina, according to a news release. She now lives in Wilmington.
 
"Beverly's comprehensive understanding of both the commercial and personal insurance sides of our business, together with her dynamic long-term client relationships, will provide added value to our well-rounded areas of insurance services," Wells’ COO Steve Wells said in the release.
 
Wells Insurance is a privately owned, fourth-generation brokerage that has been in the Wilmington area since 1920, the release stated. It is currently owned and operated by the founder’s great-grandsons Steve Wells and his brother, Hal Wells, who is the firm’s CEO.
