McKim & Creed Announces New Hires

McKim & Creed, Inc., an engineering, geomatics (surveying) and planning firm with offices throughout the South, recently announced in a press release that it has added three new individuals to its Wilmington office staff.

Joe Colin joins McKim & Creed as a hydrographic technician. He will perform surveys for beach nourishment programs, before- and after-dredging operations and coastal monitoring. Colin is a graduate of University of North Carolina Wilmington and Cape Fear Community College with degrees in psychology and marine technology, respectively. He worked with Weeks Marine Inc. previously.         


Craig Nursey (at right) joins McKim & Creed as an engineer intern and will be responsible for “providing technical and design services in support of civil engineering and land development projects,” according to the release. Nursey has a degree in biological engineering from N.C. State University.           




Kevin Plemmons (at left) is a project engineer specializing in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. A graduate of The Citadel, Plemmons is rejoining the McKim & Creed team after working as the resources engineering and programs manager for the city of Concord.
