Hamm Joins Wilmington Health Gastroenterology

Jamie Hamm, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, is now seeing patients with Wilmington Health’s Gastroenterology division, the medical group announced in a recent press release.

Hamm will assist physician Allan Hiroshi Andrews in “diagnosing and treating conditions and diseases of the digestive system including the stomach, colon, small bowel, liver, pancreas and gallbladder,” according to the release.

“As a nurse practitioner, I provide a high level of quality care from promoting wellness and educating my patients on preventative care to treating and managing a variety of conditions,” Hamm said in a statement. “Each patient can expect individualized, collaborative care as I work closely with Drs. Mlot and Andrews.”

Hamm has a master's of science degree in nursing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and will be based at the medical group’s 1202 Medical Center Drive location.
