PACE Has A New CEO

By Meg Garner, posted Jul 29, 2014
The board of directors for Elderhaus Inc. announced in a recent press release the selection of Rick Richards as the adult day care’s new CEO.

Richards has more than 20 years of experience with community-based health care administration and development experience, the release stated, and most recently helped to establish a start-up phase of a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) program in Gastonia, North Carolina.

A Oklahoma native, Richards helped to establish a “free-standing hospice agency, a Medicaid Waiver home health facility, a Medicare Certified Home Health agency and established Oklahoma’s first PACE program sponsored by the Cherokee Tribe,” according to the release.

PACE founder and CEO Linda Pearce retired at the end of 2013 after 32 years with the agency.
