Good Shepherd Center recently named three new board members.

Arch Ellis, Emily Henson and Rabbi Julie Kozlow each were elected to three-year terms, according to a news release.

Ellis (left) ran a family farm in Wilson before moving to Wilmington 2000. He now works as a Realtor for Intracoastal Realty and owns a pine straw business, the release stated.

Henson (below) works with Duke Energy and joined the company in 1997 after receiving her undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from the University of South Carolina. She has held a variety of positions with Duke Energy and currently serves as construction and maintenance manager for the Wilmington area.

Kozlow graduated from the American Jewish University in 2000 and received her Rabbinic ordination in 2007. She holds two master’s degrees in Rabbinic Studies. Kozlow moved to Wilmington last year from Greenville, South Carolina, and serves as the rabbi at B’nai Israel Congregation on Chestnut Street. She is the first woman to serve as a Jewish spiritual leader in southeastern North Carolina.

Good Shepherd Center’s mission is to “feed the hungry, shelter the homeless and foster transition to housing,” the release stated.
