A Cornucopia Of Eateries Open For Thanksgiving

In case you’re still in need of a place to eat on Thanksgiving Day, here’s a quick roundup of some of the area eateries open for the holiday.

Several Wilmington LM Restaurant Group locations will be open, including Bluewater Waterfront Grill, which will serve from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with a full Thanksgiving buffet: $24.99 for adults and $11.99 for kids 12 and under.

LM's Hops Supply Co. will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. serving its regular menu as well as Thanksgiving specials available for dine in and carry out. Family style portions are also available. Oceanic, Henry’s and Eddie Romanelli's of Leland will also be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with their regular menus all day. Carolina Ale House will remain open until 2 a.m.

The Pilot House will offer dinner with soup, salad and an entrée with three sides and dessert for $26.95 for adults and $12.95 for children 12 and under. The menu includes butternut squash soup; a mixed-greens salad with apple, Roquefort and seasoned croutons; oven-roasted turkey and spice-smoked ham, sausage and cornbread stuffing; mashed potatoes; candied yams; and pecan and pumpkin pie.

The Hilton Riverside Wilmington will offer a buffet with the following stations: the carvery, composed salads, cold seafood, bread board, entrees, accompaniments, sweets and a children’s table. The price, which includes 30 offerings in all, is $31.95 for adults, $21.95 for seniors, $13.95 for children ages 5-11 and free for children 4 and under.

Sweet N Savory will serve a full buffet of traditional Thanksgiving items, plus additional offerings such as house-made pulled pork barbecue and vegetarian lasagna. The buffet is $25.99 for adults, $15.99 for children 4-11 and free for youngsters under 4.

Bridge Tender will serve a four-course meal from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. that includes a crab dip appetizer, choice of salad, roasted turkey, honey ham or prime rib with stuffing, corn pudding, choice of potato and vegetable and a selection of homemade desserts. The cost is $24 for aduls and $14 for children.

Casey’s Buffet will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Reservations are suggested at all locations, except for Casey’s Buffet, which does not accept reservations.
