Viamark Carolinas continues to expand its digital marketing team with the addition of social media strategist Victoria Long, according to a news release.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Long made Wilmington her home after obtaining her bachelor's degree in studio art with a minor in digital art from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
Long comes to Viamark from Anglers Marine NC where she was the social media marketing director, the release stated.
“Victoria’s experience involved integrating both traditional and digital marketing strategies for Anglers, which is perfectly aligned with Viamark Carolina’s ‘tradigital’ approach to advertising and marketing,” said Viamark President Bea Gibson in a release. “She has extensive social media experience including staying ahead of social trends, creating compelling content, and analyzing campaign metrics to increase engagement and improve return on investment.
“This is exactly what we were looking for in terms of adding this new social media strategist position.”
The new position marks another milestone in Viamark Carolina’s growth across both North and South Carolina, as well as expanding that footprint in technology-related businesses in multiple states, according to the release.
“Having an exceptional social media strategist on our team is important for our clients for several reasons,” stated Viamark Vice President Gayle Brown in the release. “Consistency in posting, the ability to closely monitor customer engagement, being able to take the time to research engaging content, and to follow up posts with sharp analysis of the results adds value for the client and for our agency in the ever-competitive digital marketplace.”
